Refund & Cancellation Policy
At MeetUrExpert, we value the time and trust of both our users and experts. This Refund & Cancellation Policy is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and a seamless experience for all.
1. Appointment Bookings (One-to-One/Consultations)
User Cancellations:
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled session → 100% refund or free reschedule.
- Cancellations made 6–24 hours before → 50% refund or reschedule with expert approval.
- Cancellations made less than 6 hours before → No refund (reschedule subject to expert's consent).
Expert Cancellations:
- If an expert cancels a session at any time → 100% refund or free reschedule at user's choice.
- Repeated cancellations by an expert may lead to review of their listing.
No-Show Policy:
- If the user does not attend the session without notice → No refund.
- If the expert does not attend → 100% refund + priority reschedule option.
2. Technical Issues / Failed Sessions
- If a session cannot be completed due to technical errors (app/server issues) → user is entitled to full refund or free reschedule.
- If issues occur due to user-side network/device problems → refund will not be applicable, but a reschedule may be allowed (expert's discretion).
3. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- In case of third-party payment gateways, timelines may vary as per their policies.
4. Special Conditions
- Promotional Offers & Discounts: Non-refundable unless explicitly mentioned.
- Violation of Terms: If a user or expert is found violating the app's terms of service, no refund will be provided.
